What does the Glenmore Road P&C do?

In the past few years, the GRPS P&C has (amongst other things)

  • Provided the School with:

- laptop computers and printers;

- playground upgrade;

- extra numeracy & literacy resources;

- air conditioning in the Library; and

- sports equipment.

  • Run the Uniform Shop; and
  • Organised fundraising and social activities (such as the 130th Anniversary Celebrations, the Welcome BBQ and Mother's & Father's Day celebrations).

The main objectives of the P&C are:

  • Give parents and the local community a voice and to effectively represent the needs of parents and citizens of the school;
  • Fundraise for facilities and equipment that enhance the educational experience at GRPS;
  • Provide a networking forum for parents; and
  • Encourage an overall sense of community at GRPS.

Who can become a member of the GRPS P&C Association?

All parents and carers of students at the School are eligible to be members of the P&C Association. All citizens living within the boundaries of the School are also eligible to be members of the P&C Association. Payment of a membership fee (a gold coin donation) can be collected at any meeting. This entitles a new member to vote at the next meeting

The following members of the 2018 P&C Committee are happy to take any issues to P&C if you are unable to attend in person.
